Here's what's wrong with our Government
A little diatribe I just wrote.
Hope you like it.

=====================================
Here's what's wrong with our Government

The Corporatists have taken over.

It's now a Government of the Corporates, by the Corporates, and for the Corporates.

Multi-National Corporates at that!
No national loyalty just loyalty to the bottomline and we are just pawns.

They work through our MSM to brainwash us that all social programs to protect and help the citizens are bad. That government is bad and can't possibly help. Unions are bad. Worker safety is bad. Public school is bad. Environment protection is bad.

Your TV is your enemy (for the most part) and they own almost all forms of media.

You being sold a bill of goods and they are getting you to vote against your own interests while stealing your tax dollars blind.

We need a government of, by, and for the people. It is our only hope for a democratic society. The more they monopolize the less control that we the people have. We are the government. We have a voice with the vote.
Get the private sector out of our elections and out of our vote counting. They are much too sacred to be left to the lobbyists and private interest vote counters. Our forfathers died for our rights and not so we would hand them over to some business interests.
Get deprogrammed and get involved!

1. I like it.
We don't need a government of, by and for. We HAVE one.
Just some people don't notice.

5. I don't think so.
Corporatist pretty much says it all. There is nothing wrong with raising capital/investments. When it becomes all about the big company and nothing for the welfare of anyone but the stockholders, I think we have a problem.

3. Government of, by, and for the Corporations. I've said that for a while.
BTW, here's my (much longer) rant in a similar vein (although, I expanded from just the government to the country as a whole):

I agree 100% with what you're saying.

4. The wealthy own the machine and we are just batteries
Capital is rewarded and work is cheapened.
