BFEE Attacks Us Again
I don't get it...

The right wing rolled Bush* by derailing the Miers nomination through a campaign of invective, innuendo, and smear and he rewards them for their treachery by nominating a far right wing justice while showing us the back of his hand...

That's his right....

But I will not support any Democrat who does not filibuster this nomination and I will not support any Democrat who allows the Senate to return to business as usual after the Radical Republicans change the rules to end the filibuster...

BFEE has laid down the gauntlet....

History will judge us by how we respond....

3. He Crossed The Rubicon With This Pick...
I was ambivalent about Roberts, felt Miers was railroaded, but this pick had radicalized me...

12. They've been speaking out against Alito pretty vocally.
I can't think of one Democrat, Lieberman included, who would vote for this guy.

2. I agree 100%.
The nation is looking for someone - anyone - to stand up and put this country back on its traditional track. If not the Democrats, then someone else.

6. I Need One More Vote For The Greatest...
This has Rove written all over it...

It's a shame that a man under criminal investigation is the puppeteer for the president...

4. I think they are so past redemption
that they will use the nuke-u-ler option and be done with it. Then, even if they get nothing else they will have stacked the court.

11. Agree.
DEMS need to filibuster.
I still can't accept the DEMS who voted for Roberts. If any vote for Alito, I would be really pissed.

16. Question is what to do after the NUCLEAR OPTION?
I say we stop Congress altogether. Block doors. Take it to the people.

But, our research has to be better than the stuff I've seen posted against Samuel Alito. (Some points were made about issues, then in the middle an issue was explained, looking like another item they had Alito on -- weird stuff.)

17. I agree. . .
The American people are already angry at the ineffectiveness of Congress as it is - particularly at the corrupt leadership. Let them see what it means to have a fascist one-party system where the Focus on the Family types shove the strangest Taliban-like laws possible down our throats and then MAYBE they'll wake up enough to realize what they've done.
