The future relationship between * and the fundies |
|
If the history of shrub has one constant (outside of bourbon) it is his long memory once someone crosses him.
Now that the fundie right has stabbed him in the back, does anyone think that he won't do something to stab back at them? Sure, you have to get the business of governing out of the way, so Scalito is easily explained (and it also served as a convenient vehicle to move MSM off of Libby and Rover), but really, this guy goes out of his way to piss on his enemies if he ever thinks that they crossed him. Even if they are not his enemies, he reacts that way. (ask people from Bush 1 just how mean-spirited shrub was to perceived enemies to his daddy).
I suspect that sometime in the future, the fundies will be unpleasantly surprised. Deeply, miserably, and shockingly. (or so I hope)

1. He's a vindictive little shit, but a real coward, too... |
|
...he'll only strike at someone if he thinks he can get away with it, and I don't think he can get away with lashing out at the only base he has.

2. wrong, he craves approval and the fundies are so anal that in |
|
their one-issue minds, they will re-assume their most sycophantic pose with the new scotus nominee.
