Yes, Bush should have nominated a woman for the Supreme Court
Women are more than 50% of the population of this country. With Sandra Day O'Connor stepping down, her replacement should not only be a woman, but a moderate woman also. The Republicans have slapped the women of America by putting forth a nominee like Samuel Alito. They should withdraw the nomination and put up a nominee that is at least representative of the other sex and who will look out for the rights of women.

3. That is a good question..
and we have heard about how right-wing all the women mentioned above happened to be. However, I believe when women's issues are adjudicated, it would still be better to have a right-wing woman than a right-wing man in the process. I think women are not as rigid as men, generally speaking.

4. Condi Rice, Gayle Norton and a host of other Repug Women would
seem that they can be very Rigid...;-)'s But, I agree with you that he should have nominated another woman and think it's going to hurt the Repugs badly that he ditched Myers and goes for a man. Particularly one that's so openly against choice.

6. What percentage of women hate eachother and loathe rights?
Not just any women would do, I know you said "moderate" I'm just commenting though on the notion that women aren't as rigid, I've seen women that would literally fight to the death to ensure that they remain second class citizens
