It fits in with my opinion, but according to Cheney & Halliburton it has been the most successful business deal ever, even topping Katrina. Just askin' . . .

The war is a complete success when you consider the goals of PNAC - they wanted to re-establish the military might of this country and build bases in the Middle East.
With this war, and the blank checks they've been getting from taxpayers, they've done both and done both remarkably well.
In Cheney's mind, this war is a complete success. And it's likely to be as long as this country has the stomach (or continues to get force fed) for it.
