Manchin not the only Democrat to buck party on abortion
http://www.wvgazette.com/section/News/2005103024

Gov. Joe Manchin’s plan to headline West Virginians for Life’s $50-a-plate dinner next month has irked Democrats who do not share Manchin’s anti-abortion sentiment.

But Manchin is not the only party leader to buck the Democratic line on the polarizing issue. His stance reflects a trend in the national party that has made social conservatism a key for political success.

“It’s a little bit more common than you think,” said Jennifer Duffy, editor of the Cook Political Report. “The question for pro-choice Democrats is, what’s more important: to have members of Congress and governors with D’s behind their name, or have candidates who may or may not win but are pure on the issue?”

2. This All Simply Comes Under The Heading For Democrats
"No Cojones!" Just to have a "D" behind the name means NOTHING, if the PRINCIPLES they believe in should REALLY have an "R" behind their name!!!

What kind of GAME is this????

Color Me FED UP!!!

3. The last line sums up the DINO position
“The question for pro-choice Democrats is, what’s more important: to have members of Congress and governors with D’s behind their name, or have candidates who may or may not win but are pure on the issue?”

What difference does it make if they have D's behind their name if they vote like it was an R?
