Daschle would be a coward if he were still Minority Leader
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 03:30 PM by Michigander4Dean
Honestly, Reid could be doing better, but while he ain't perfect (who is?), Daschle would've been a weakling against ScAlito. Reid won't give ScAlito the free pass Daschle would give him.

3. We are at the defining moment of Reid's tenure as Minority Leader
This one says it all. Either he's a hero, or he's a goat.

I hope he does not go the way of the goat.

5. Daschle was attacked with Anthrax and was DESTROYED through a concerted
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 03:58 PM by emulatorloo
effort by the Repug party, including but not limited to Jeff Gannon shenanigans, paid bloggers who recieved money frm the Repug party without acknowledging it as they spewed against him, and an endless ad campaign in SD of Rovian proportions.

He stood up to all that crap, and you want to call him a coward? Look I am no Daschle fan, but if the REpublicans felt they had to CRUSH him there is something there.

And he exhibited plenty of courage when his offices were attacked w anthrax.
