2. Hey...
What's your problem? I've been told at least five times today that the economy is great.

5. Notice
how median household income is almost half what is was while under Clinton even though productivity is doubled under bush? That's a BIG reason why I hate these greedy SOB's. But not the only reason though.

7. I Love Hard Data! Nominated. Bush ALWAYS Looks Horrible When Reduced
to the raw numbers. Of course he looks horrible most of the time anyway.

Good get!

I hope all of DU sees it too. I think we also need to be reminded sometimes of the Clinton achievements.

14. Thanks Montauk6
That productivity shows Bush's policies are nothing more than wage slave policies since median income has dropped. Shows us that we are being forced to work harder to pick up the slack for all the loss jobs, and getting paid less for it.

16. Productivity implies UNEMPLOYMENT. It could/should face WRONG.
It's a measure of efficiency, but as well of overwork of employees and underinvestment in the future, i.e. short term gain.

When emps are laid off, chances are a company continues to produce pushing overtime, dropping research, future planning, upgrades, etc. Productivity doesn't get to measure how much less future reinvestment is lost, nor how much a workforce is overworked to the detriment of the worker and family.

Whenever unemployment rises, productivity is paraded as some GoOd ThInG. It's not. Just sounds it.

PER CAPITA GDP is good. (No it's bad, keep reading) However, I question how much of that is CONs borrowing additional 25% of taxes received each year. In fact, a quick calculation of an 12T$ GDP with .5T$ borrowed would be over 4% affect on Per capita GDP. The little shrub actually LOST OVER 2% ON PER CAPITA GDP!!! When discounting his borrowing!!! His SS destroying borrowing.

There is nothing good about RepubliCONs.

11. Throw in the number of abortions, too
IIRC, abortions under Clinton dropped to all-time lows.

That addition to the chart would really steam right-wingers who hate abortion AND Clinton.

13. Another question I'd like to ask the Clinton haters:
Did you REALLY suffer hard times (forget that you hated the man's guts for a minute) during the Clinton years?

I mean, I can understand it if some guy or lady was struggling to make ends meet and after 2000 they hit the jackpot.

(I think we need to bring the Misery Index out of the mothballs)
