Stop. Watching. Hardball!! |
|
and stop posting about it at DU.
He's the worse. He lies as much if not more than O'Leilly.
If you quit posting alerts, no one will be left to watch Tweety and his stupid TV apperances will end.
As I've said before: I swear that the only reason they keep Hardball on TV is to piss off DUers.

Plus, we need to keep tabs of the media temperature......it has to be done to know our adversary.

tactics.
What can one possibly hope to learn about Tweety at this point?

10. What liberalnurse said!!! |
|
The best way to be prepared is to know your adversary!
Thanks, libnurse! Now I have something else to say when my b/f tries to mute the TV when Bushie and his liars talk. I want to know what they are saying so I can be prepared with THE TRUTH should I need to combat a RWNut talking point!

3. Give that poster a beer! |
|
:toast:  :toast:
The only way Tweety stays on TV is by making his bi-weekly swerve to the center, (not the Left, kiddies) giving false hope to the non-cynical.

4. I find it sharpens my debate skills to watch the liars lie |
|
I remember telling my grand-dad that "the people in the TV" couldn't hear him sitting in his living room talking back to them. He'd have a good laugh on me these days;)

7. Done. I think he had Distemper as a child. |
|
I had a dog once that had distemper as a puppy. Every once in a while I would think I could trust him and, just when I let my guard down, he would bite me or someone else. Sometimes you just gotta put 'em down and that is what I've done with the tweetster.

People who think they're actually getting valid information or insights from watching crap like this are people who need to go back and read some good old American history so as to get a proper perspective.
Tweety and his ilk are nothing but needy and desperate know-nothings who once had jobs reporting the news, but who have morphed - for reasons I'll never understand, but maybe it's just all that empty air time- into people who actually believe they're newsworthy.
They're not. They do nothing. They know nothing. And watching them makes you stupid.

16. when tweety talks to real reporters it can be interesting. |
|
If he has a panel of reporters from WaPo,Newsweek, and other "legit" news sources comparing notes regarding what they are finding out in thier reporting, it can be pretty interesting.
Sadly he doesn;t do as much of that as he should. but he does do it occasionally. and I can always fast forward thru the repug talking heads.
And that being said he has had the best plamegate coverage on tv recently

14. Regardless of your intent, if you watch, you are a viewer... |
|
...and you are helping them make money and stay on the air. Don't listen to or watch any right-wing propaganda if there's any chance they can profit from it or you are supporting them. And don't talk about them or post about them or you are advertising for them for free. Even if you are saying bad things about them, you are keeping them in the public consciousness, and that keeps them employed and well-paid. If you really want to hurt them, let them fall into anonymity. Ignore them. Forget their names. Talk about liberals instead.
Do whatever you want really, just be informed.

Hardball ranks behind Olbermann, Aaron Brown, Paula Zahn, Nancy Grace, Wolf Blitzer, Scarborough Country, Anderson Cooper, Lou Dobbs, American Morning, Dayside...and a host of other similar programs.
Why would one take Hardball's pulse as being indicative of what Dems need to view to see what the RW is spinning to the country? It makes no sense. In July, he averaged just 313,000 veiwers per night. What's that? About 1.15% of the country watching him on a given night?
Obviously, nobody cares and nobody is listening...which means that he has ZERO impact on the debate.

20. Email them, even if you've stopped watching. |
|
viewerservices@msnbc.com letters@msnbc.com hardball@msnbc.com joe@msnbc.com
Email and tell them you wish you could buy the products they're probably advertising, but since Tweety and Joe are such obvious RW hacks you can't watch. I once asked msnbc if they'd send me a list of their advertisers in case I miss an interesting consumable. :sarcasm:
