3. That "hit sheet" sounds like KKKarl (back at work in WH) |
|
I don't put anything beyond a guy who'd bug his own office and blame it on "the enemy."

7. It was supposedly Democratic "talking points" against Alito |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 06:20 PM by LSparkle
Started with him being "soft on crime" because he didn't get convictions in some mob case. No one has claimed responsibility for it and Tweety just ASSUMED it came from "the Democrats." Dean said he didn't know anything about it, neither did Ralph Neas ... It's beginning to smell like a KKKarl Kreation to me.

8. And Tweety is the only pundit bringing it up. |
|
I guess if Rove faxed it to him, he must've thought Tweety was gullible enough to fall for it. Rove was right.
Tweety is an idiot.

12. Thank you! that's the first I've heard of the details... |
|
And what is up with Tweety? Did he get a threat in his underground parking garage?
Why all this BS now? Any clues?

9. they're trying to imply that Dems are anti-Italian... |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 06:36 PM by grasswire
....or maybe even that Dems are anti-Catholic.
The first items on the alleged "hit" sheet had to do with Alito's behavior in one or more cases against members of the Mafia.
Hatch and then Tweety are denouncing the criticisms in the "hit" sheet as bigoted and hateful.
Republicans were out early today saying that Dems would engage in hate speech against Alito and call him a fascist like Mussolini.

And it would be nice if people would stop equating Italian with Catholic...but being the reductionists they are, they probably won't bother. I mean, it's not like a person of Italian heritage could possibly have been raised in another religious tradition, is it? Yeesh.
