Bush nominates Miers - "Absolute best qualified woman in the world for the SC." Right out of the gate she gets beaten up, from both sides. She pulls in her horns and disappears. So he now offers up a white male to get the post, effectively saying there isn't one other woman out there fit to do the job. So the progress women made by getting these high level positions has been dealt a setback since the court will likely be 8 males - 1 female. Or even 9 - 0 if Ginsburg leaves.

I would like to know what the uppity, smarmy, know-it-all republican women who voted for the IdiotSon think of their man now - he's bascially told them there isn't another woman in the world fit to be a Supreme Court justice. Women need not apply. The glass ceiling has been patched.

These fools that voted for Bush deserve what they got - and that was to be screwed by their hero, George W. Bush.
