GOP Senator sticks foot in mouth in New Orleans

ted stevens (fascist), Alaska was in New Orleans yesterday getting a first hand view of hurricane damage. He asked a couple in a damaged area why would they want to rebuild in an area below sea level. That started a shitstorm but of course, according to ole ted he was "taken out of context." Just what fucking context should republicans be taken?

Great article which goes on to chronicle the Alaska Earthquake of 1964 and how Anchorage was rebuilt right back on an earthquake faultline. And that Alaskans get a helluva lot more federal aid then they pay in taxes. Poor ted.

There must be something in the water at the Senate Mess because Republican Senators have been acting totally insane of late.

6. Ted stevens is a disgrace. The people up here want to give the

money to Louisiana. I can't tell you how we cringe. He should get his ass kicked down there. And, as for the fault line, you can see it run through town. Providence Hospital, our biggest hospital, is built right in front of it.
