The good news is that the Law in California is such that you can vote at any polling place in the state, using what's called a 'provisional' ballot.

They said, 'this isn't your polling place; this isn't where you're voting today'.

I said, 'I know the Law - this is EXACTLY where I'm voting today. Gimme my provisional ballot, right now.'

They did.

Is there any way to find out if your ballot is disqualified? Because that's their pattern. They give you the ballot to get rid of you and disqualify it later :(
