Conservatives want lies, Liberals want truth

I don't know why this difference hasn't been
made...I know, it's a general black and white
meme usually made by the rightwingnuts, but
it seems to be easier for the sheeple to understand.

We want and tell the truth.
They want and tell lies.

I always come back to an analogy of a dysfunctional relationship where one partner is cheating or even violent and the other partner is so desperate to keep the relationship that they will put up with anything. They want to believe the lies.

6. I think you have nailed an important difference between us

and our conservative colleagues. I am no longer surprised that my Republican friends simply make up and/or parrot lies to protect their beloved W. What I cannot understand is the blind loyalty that some of my military friends show to this doofus who is working over time to weaken our armed forces and screw our veterans. Maybe the light will dawn at some point. I hope so; I hate to think of long time friends as liars and fools.
