Bush in the Bunker, Speaks Only to His 4 Mommies

INSIGHT: Sources close to the White House say that Mr. Bush has become isolated and feels betrayed by key officials in the wake of plunging domestic support, the continued insurgency in Iraq and the CIA-leak investigation that has resulted in the indictment and resignation of Lewis “Scooter” Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney’s former chief of staff.

The sources said Mr. Bush maintains daily contact with only four people: first lady Laura Bush, his mother, Barbara Bush, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Undersecretary of State Karen Hughes. The sources also say that Mr. Bush has stopped talking with his father, except on family occasions.

35. Ya got that right; get the Napoleon hat
What's so incredible about this whole five year nightmare is that it's so absolutely obvious to so many of us: he's a petty, vengeful, sadistic, lazy, greedy, stupid little hereditary nobody. He'd be lucky to be the assistant manager of a fast-food stand if he didn't have his connections, and he's such a snide and egocentric dick that it boggles the imagination that everyone can't see it.

He's going to snap and go totally over the edge soon, and it's not going to be pretty.

Hitler would spend most of his time with his four female secretaries. I'm not one for the Bush/Hitler comparisons but I find this parallel interesting. THat is if Drudge is right. Still the behavior isn't outside the realm of possibility yes?

12. proof positive here that his presidency was all about Daddy
that's right... the little Chimp has no interest or curiosity in public policy or governing... instead, he is deeply resentful of his Father and wanted to 'out-do' him and 'out-achieve' him. Of course, he can't face his Father now. Everything that has happened has validated his father's wisdom not to invade Iraq after the Gulf War. History will judge his father the superior president. Chimpy cannot tolerate that.

Poetic justice.

(BTW- you are brave to post Drudge here... I have gotten shit from DUers everytime i have... but it hasn't stopped me yet. tee hee)

For the president, what triggered the break with his father was the interview given to the New Yorker magazine in October by Brent Scowcroft, who served as national security advisor in the first Bush presidency. In the interview, Mr. Scowcroft criticized the administration's handling of Iraq. The sources said the president is convinced that Mr. Scowcroft consulted with Mr. Bush's father prior to delivering the devastating critique of the president's Iraq policy.

The interview sparked a series of high-level criticism that Mr. Bush believes was coordinated by circles close to his father. Mr. Scowcroft and Mr. Bush's father have been regarded as being best friends.

Relations between Mr. Bush and his chief political adviser, Karl Rove, had also become tense in the build-up to the indictment of Mr. Libby. This is due to the fact the president believed his chief aide when Mr. Rove said that he had nothing to do with the leak of Mrs. Plame's identity. The prospect that Mr. Libby will turn state evidence in the Plame case is even more alarming for the White House.

"Bush is living from hour to hour," said a senior Republican source who visits the White House frequently.

This is going down much as I expected, assuming the story is accurate.

Bush has a delicate ego. And he's certainly living in daddy's shadow.

I still want to know if Daddy's popularity is greater than junior's. Somebody ought to do a poll.

25. HA HA HA! One of these nutjobs compares Shrub to Michael Jackson!
Well, Bush may be a Muslim country-invading, 9-11 exploiting, megalomaniacal psychopath, but he's no child molester!

To: Cecily
The President is out doing speeches, he is hardly in the oval office and now, is on an Asian trip and not in the office at all.

This report is rubbish - like saying Michael Jackson was nuts on the plane back to LA and when every one saw the tape saw he was calm, cool and collected the entire time and was never as the reports.

This report like most are why no one reads/watches MSM any longer.

Bush is a man of faith. Behaving in this manner would be out of character for him.
Bush has the greatest political minds in the country at his service. If the left really thinks he's hiding in fear like a cornered rat, they've got another thought coming.
In my opinion, Bush is setting the board up for a check mate. He's still got three more years worth of maneuvers, and setting the democrats up for their final demise is the ultimate goal.

Bush remembers what Clinton did to his father. That's when George Jr. entered into the political realm! It's going to be pay back time, and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I'd expect nothing less from Bush.

WORLD ACCORDING TO FREEPSTERS:

REAL WORLD:

Bush is a man of farce. Behaving in this manner would be out of character for him, mostly because he has no character.

Bush has the greatest political dissemblers in the country at his back. If the left really thinks he's hiding in fear like a cornered rat, the left must be limp with raucous, helpless laughter.

In my opinion, Bush is sitting with his chess board, still wondering which orifice the little piece with the pointy top would fit into best. He's still got three more years worth of maneuvers, and 58 years behind him of being unable to find his ass with both hands, or with any amount of maneuvers.

Bush remembers what Clinton did to his father. (It makes him blush to think of it, but he remembers.) That's when George Jr. (sic) entered the political realm! (Because he had failed at every other realm!) It's going to be pay back time, and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (We're not saying whose eyes and teeth it will be, but word is that the White House has ordered a shitload of those mouth protector thingies that football players use. And... please, no cokejaw jokes!)

I'd expect less from Bush--because you can't go wrong expecting that! :toast:

Really. He's "the leader of the free world" as they say, and when things don't go his way he hides from the world? Come on, grow a pair. Seriously.

I'd like to take some joy in this, but its even more terrifying than a normal day under the Dubya presidency. Not only are we being led by a moron, but he's a moron hiding in the closet talking only to his wife and mommy. Christ. I know four year olds braver than him.
