I'd like Rep Murtha to make a public appearance in Uniform
Maybe a ribbon cutting ceremony in his district. Maybe with a bunch of other veterans or servicemembers in uniform around him. Maybe at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Maybe a photo op with the president. Would that not be sweet?

1. Maybe at the swearing in of the next President in 2006.

2. But that's just it. He doesn't flaunt it, which is one reason it's so

credible.

It would be a bad idea for him.

The inauguration on the other hand- that would be nice!

4. Veteran's Day
Although we are 11 months out. All Veterans and retirees wear their uniform to events saluting veterans.

3. Little Mr. Dressup Doll would show up in similar attire, no doubt.
:puke:

He just makes me sick. But Rep. Murtha in or out of uniform looks like the hero he is. :patriot:

7. He'd surely need a new one, he couldn't fit into his old one, if he still
even has it.

I like him just fine the way he is now--the fact that he doesn't need to trot out photos of himself all beribboned and bedecked suggests to me that he is a humble fellow who believes in doing the right thing.
