Gore didn't do "more than anyone" to pass NAFTA!
The repukes had a lot to do with that. Bush 1 started it.

4. Thanks spooky3. Jobs now. NAFTA. Asking Dean about Gore,
who endorsed NAFTA (true).

Dean: now we need to globalize rights of workers.
Raise standard of living elsewhere so people can make
a living everywhere.
Put the emphasis on fair traid not free trade.
Clinton only did half the job, forgot about workers.
Can't trust right wing w money.
Invest in small business!

Tom: But WalMart has great prices!

Kucinich: Need social consciousness.
Companies only care about cheap labor (he's missing the point
that people can only afford to shop at WalMart, so it's a damn
cycle!).
Must cancel NAFTA, they can't be fixed (in contrast to Dean).

Chimpy wants to privitize SS and put it more at risk.
Critical issue is on health care costs themselves.
Part of solution of medicare problem.
Too much money going to adm and corps.
Need preventive health care.

Savings accounts isn't a plan (chimpy's "plan").

116. I think this is a good debate.
While Tom started off trying to play "Gotcha," none of our candidates would play. They are standing up for themselves, so Tom has to back off.

Also, with just one moderator, he doesn't have to compete with others to come up with the best "Gotcha" moment.

120. 800 votes out of 200,000???
I would say that they did.

However, I would argue that Clark did much worse considering the fact that he was there for almost a month before the NH Primary, and Edwards focused on Iowa, and then after Iowa he split time between campaigning in NH and SC during last week.

Besides, Clark came down from over 25% to 12% and Edwards came up from 3% to 12%.

Clark did worse!
