Let me be the first to say it. It's looking like the new Arnold strategy is to win in 2006, then back Maria Shriver-Schwarzenegger-Kennedy for her own run in 2010 -- as a Democrat, of course. Do you think state voters would go for a Kennedy, with all that glamour and pictures of JFK and Jackie? Of course. Maria is playing an ever-greater role in the Arnold administration. If he wins next year, she'll get the credit. Then she'll craft his next four years as a prelude to her own run.

And hold your breath for the next part. Although Arnold can't run for president, Maria can.
