1. Impressive
Ritter voted for Bush in 2000. He may not vote for the eventual Democratic nominee this fall, but one less Bush voter is always a victory.

Kucinich should get at least two percent of the vote in New Mexico, maybe even three! Dennis rocks!

28. WHOA?!?!?!?!
WHERE DID THAT ENDORSEMENT COME FROM?

That's absolutely AMAZING. Back in the 90s, I NEVER thought I'd see the day when Ritter would endorse someone like DK.

:toast:

(BTW that book was required reading last spring (and still is today). I bought/distributed a number of copies to family and friends who were gung-ho about the war. A CLASSIC.)

15. Great to see
I hope to be watching some type of coverage on my favorite corporate television station. Maybe they can do an interview of Scott and he can stick his thumbs in his ears, wiggle his fingers, stick out his tongue and say "I told you so!"

I'm sick of listening to that lying so and so Kay... cheerleads us to war all last winter and leaves the troops behind because it was too dangerous for him.

31. Actually, I heard tonight on NPR
that Kay is now joining McCain and the Dems in calling for an independent inquiry into the evidence that was used to sell the war to Americans.

So maybe Kay is also coming over.

And guess what guys... Ritter was right! NO WMD! Funny how he's not invited on any talk shows now to say 'I told you so!'

21. Fine work Will!
I knew you'd be busy before the 4th! Someone needs to keep beating the WMD drum until people finally get it. And who better that DK. Here's what gets me: the argument that we got Saddam and he was a bad man misses the point. The point is that we were not told the truth. We have to keep dragging Bush back to that fact.

Scott knows that there was no reason to hype the WMD 'we need to disarm Saddam' line the bush goons were pimping. I'm glad he's picked a candidate who also knew better than to provide echo-chamber service to bush's warmongering lies.

Scott was on Washington Journal this morning I hear. Seems like every time I don't watch there's someone interesting on.

Endorsements Coming in for Kucinich
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 19, 2004

Among the latest endorsers of Dennis Kucinich for President are San Francisco Commissioner Paul Kangas, former UN Chief Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter, Missouri Congressional candidate Corey Mohn, Coordinator of the Global Network Against Weapons & Nuclear Power in Space Bruce Gagnon, Director of the Center for Social Action Connie Hogarth, Author Daniel A. Stafford, the Coordinator of Environment Programs at Southampton College Peter Maniscalco, and Author Carlton Cornett.

Scott Ritter is the author of "Frontier Justice: Weapons of Mass Destructions and the Bushwacking of America" and "Endgame: Solving the Iraq Crisis." Ritter was chief weapons inspector for the U.N. during the 1990s, and correctly predicted before the invasion of Iraq that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction.

The list of Kucinich endorsers covers some of the greatest activitsts, authors and artists of the here and now.

Chomsky is just a bit short of an endorsement also.
