1. If you voted óther'
would you mind telling us what you have in mind?

Personally I think he should set up residence in OK, run for senate in 2006 and win and the launch to the Presidency in 2008 or 2012.

2. If he loses the nom, I don't want to think about anybody but a Dem
incumbent, most likely Kerry, and then his VP, running in 2008 and 2012. If not, we will be living under a police state. Elections will be irrelevant if even existant at that point.

11. Other
Campaign fiercely for the Dem nominee. Write his memoirs.
I'd like to see him run for Gov in OK, that is, if given any encouragement.

Clark is from Arkansas. We already have a Democratic governor here in Oklahoma.

27. Hillary's from Arkansas. Schwarzenegger's from Austria.
And I don't think you can set ordinary limits on a fellow like Wesley Clark.

3. Secretary of State
He's a very diplomatic guy who understands world dynamics and would make an awesome Sec. of State.

I just hope that he doesn't leave Democratic politics after this election.

5. Having done his duty
he should go back into business and make lots of money and Gert and he should spend the rest of their lives spoiling their grandkids and having a grand time.

Incidentally, I didn't notice a VP bid and I doubt he'd accept it if it were offered, which I can't conceive of happening in the first place.

Assuming the general public buys into the propaganda from the mediawhores and gives Kerry the nod, there will be no future for Clark in the Beltway and his potential as a lobbyist in the all-but-certain second Bush term would be nil.

A Kerry campaign will literally depend on how much the American people dislike, distrust and/or hate this regime. Frankly, in the world in which we actually live, I don't see the monolith displacing the chimp anytime soon.

I wonder if Bush will give Hannity, O'Rielly and Matthews Presidential Medals of Freedom for their work in behalf of his presidency. It sure wouldn't be much of a surprise, would it?

7. I worry about that too.
Kerry lacks a certain inspirational quality.

8. I agree
If this were to happen, I say retire and have a great time! He and Gert deserve it, and he owes this nation nothing more.

20. Agree
Thanks for posting...I am at work and appreciate your telling it like it is.

Bush will win if we fail to nominate Clark...it is as simple as that. The machine arrayed against Clark is huge, and all the so-called Democrats who have pushed this man away from the party deserve a medal from Karl Rove.

I'm running the caucus here next week and then I'm declaring as an independent. Seriously, the Democratic Party has treated this opportunity to change the WH as a joke. They are proving to me that protecting the MIC and increasing their personal power comes before the needs of the American people.

Hey_if you want to offer anyone anything, you have to win the WH. Keep buying corporate media's pick and it ain't gonna happen.

May the General and Gert live happily ever after.

9. Looking to win !
Iam a Clark supporter and Iam not even thinking about "if Clark isnt nominated " Iam thinking about when he is nominated and how not only all Dems ,alot of repugs look at this rising star and see the greatness of Clark just waiting to be realized by the masses ! I know he is a little green behind the ears as far as being a skilled politician ,thats what makes him even more attractive as a possible President of our great country ! Looking for a Clinton endorsement, to boost his chances even more, it would be a shame for the Dems to pass up this oppertunity.

10. he's still young enough to try for president again
But He should probably get some political experience first. Definately run for the House or Senate.

12. NO on Sec. Def.
You don't want a general in this job.

Wes is a proven negotiator, is beloved around the world and would be the perfect Sec. State.

If the eventual nominee said he would make Clark Sec. State, I would work as hard for him as I would for Clark.

18. We don't deserve him, he should retire and make lots of $$$
hang out with Gert, Jr, daughter-in-,and new grandbaby.

If we mess this up and screw our future by not electing clark. He should sit back and enjoy the resto of his life and be happy.

23. I am selfish
Sorry, Gert and Wes Jr., but I want this outstanding man in public service. No retirement now, we need him.

I hope and pray that he is our nominee but if that is not meant to be then I hope that the eventual Democratic winner will ask him to serve in the campaign and the administration.
