Did Eli Segal misunderestimate Clark's grassroots support?

I tell you what, I'm surrounded by a bunch of crazy Clark supporters here in Missouri. A group of them went out this morning to hold a Clark sign over at highway underpass. The temperature was 1 degree Fahrenheit!

I know a lot of people who would have worked their hearts our for Iowa. We also raised a lot of money that quarter - with an average donation of $112. So the question is in the title - should we have gone to Iowa?
