1. Doesn't matter. Nobody will be watching.
If a Shrub falls in the forest, and nobody hears it, does it make a difference?

6. I believe that because ...
he didn't get to gloat about the election, and his polls are down he has to do something to frighten people again. He also has to take the spotlight off of his lies, so expect the unexpected, he has been doing that for the past two weeks.

I think his speech will be much as it was today.

As prez I'm dedicated to protect American, after 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, cuz that's what Amerikan's want from a strong leader like me.

11. yeah. I agree same speech as always
with a little bit of threats thrown in and something to frighten those who don't know any better.

I believe these speeches will be carried on mainstream tv so that he can frighten the people who haven't seen the same old 911, 911 , war on terror, fight them over there , so that we don't have to fight them over here, we'll stand down, when they stand up,its my job to protect you, as long as I am president, and my favorite its hard work! Maybe he'll say he has discovered where Bin laden is.

8. He thinks he's invincible ...
he believes the hype about himself. He claims that he dosen't read the polls, then why the hell is he making all of these damn speeches. ( Because he reads the polls)

15. Exactly. It seems like Bush is "making a major speech"
twice a day now. I talked to my mom this morning, and she said that "ig Bush comes on the TV again, she's going to kick in the TV screen".

I'd call that Viewer Burnout.

10. I imagine...
that it will be:
  1. the bird flu -- we are working on it but protect yourselves by washing your hands.
  2. too bad about the Patriot Act -- now you can expect another attack any day now.
  3. Are people saying Merry Christmas to you? -- if not, they are probably trying to take it from you! (And never mind that I sent Happy Holiday cards out this year -- Presidential Prerogative, you know.)
  4. Those guys in Iran and North Korea are bad -- I'm asking daddy if it is OK to bomb them now!

16. Blah blah blah.. And when people criticize me for "investigating"
(read: spying)..people within our borders (read: naturalized Arab citizens) with probable (read: possible) ties to terrorist activity, I will not let that stop me from doing whatever it takes (read: trashing the laws and the constitution) I will not let the American citizens down. I will do whatever it takes (read: laws be damned) to protect American. 9/11 blah blah blah.

19. One thing I believe he will do is to speak of his glorious victory in Iraq
referring to the elections.

He'll take the opportunity to condemn the "naysayers" who have been critical of him.

He may continue to play the outraged victim whose illegal spying on Americans was leaked. He will act like that hurts National Security more than leaking the identity of a covert CIA operative, what was her name he'll chuckle, then smirk.

He'll do his best angry male primate roar about enemies within or outside the US.

And he will strut his chickenhawk stuff about how he will do everything he POSSIBLY can to protect the nation. And also civil liberties.

(He'll conveniently forget all the recommendations of the 9/11 commission that were never implemented)

He will probably announce a troop reduction of maybe 50,000 in the immediate aftermath of the election.

And who knows, he might get some real or fake military family up there on stage with him for a nice photo op of him giving them a Christmas gift of their son coming home.

At this point there'll likely be a holographically projected halo over Dub's head, in case the real one isn't big or shiny enough.

He will then part the Potomac, walk on water, and smirk, and giggle in that really annoying way.

Yup, should be great entertainment. Haha.

21. 30,000
That's my guess.

Of course this will be endless repeated before they come home, when they come home, and after they come home. The coverage will include interviews with the troops and their families, before they come home, when they come home and after they come home. By the time the MSM (read: rovian elves) have finished, America will believe that 90,000 min. have been withdrawal from Iraq. They will not announce any troop increases even if they occurr, nor will the increased role of PMCs be mentioned by the MSM.
