Clark people, Hardball email briefing takes notice!
I found this on the CCN:

"This is what I just received in my email from the Hardball briefing!

"About last night...I was combing through your e-mails and a number of you were
clamoring for more discussion of General Wesley Clark and his performance at
last night's debate...We wanted to get him on but his folks are opting for a
local media strategy and bypassing us national media types...When you're
e-mailing us, CC his campaign and encourage him to come on the show...One thing
you definitely gotta give the Clark folks some props for is that at their New
Hampshire post election party they were kickin' Steely Dan's "Reelin' in the
Years"...You could hear it playing in the background when Chris Jansing was
doing a hit from there..."

Keep it up people!!

1. Interesting strategy
"but his folks are opting for a local media strategy and bypassing us national media types..."

Considering how the "national media types" have tried to marginalize his campaign, I'm not surprised.

The local route could be a good move - most folks tune into their local news over cable, so Clark has a better chance of bypassing the media filter and might actually get his message out.

The downside, of course, is his national profile sinks lower. But since they're basically ignoring him anyway, I guess that's not a big loss :hi:

2. You don't really believe that
please tell me you don't!

There is a big difference between going on the show, and getting dissed during the analysis parts of the shows.

3. Of course not
But it's nice to be noticed...Also, I have heard that the local media Clark has been getting in Primary states has been quite positive overall, and I think regular people pay more attention to their local media than the national, unlike us political junkies.

4. Glad to hear it
This is just what I have been wanting them to do. Clark supporters are working hard with their local media outlets, as well. If the strategy works, the national media may be in for a rude awakening. Let's make it happen, friends. Don't PERMIT our candidate to be buried by anyone, anywhere, anytime.

:yourock:

GO WES!!
