Without a democracy there is Tyranny. We need verified voting NOW, Congress must meet before January 31!
Dennis Hastert's ploy to force Congress to recess until Jan 31 must be stopped.

It is completely unacceptable in the sheerest degree, that ANYONE in Congress would allow Dennis Hastert to set the agenda for the new year!

By delaying the Congress having open meetings until Jan. 31, Hastert is giving a known criminal Tom Delay time to attempt to beat his legal sheet.

He is also effectively derailing the entire Congressional agenda for over a month at the least, when criminal trials are pending & oversight hearings need to begin damn well immediately.

For all of you in Congress, show up at the capital before Jan. 31 and show your dissaproval to this outrageous abuse of power. This is the last time to be taking undisclosed vacations or going on hollidays, and further, this is the only time to tackle the verified voting issue once and for all and outfit every machine with voter-verified paper ballots.

1. Well, they need to give up their paychecks and perks if they don't want

to go to work like the rest of us. I mean, why should the uninsured American public pay for expensive coverage if they don't want to show up to earn it. Or their airfare. Or anything else. They're almost all pretty well off anyway, let them foot their own bills. I'm sick of the parasites.

2. The Patriot Act extension expires Feb 3rd

and these guys are just getting back to business
on Jan. 31st?
