Teresa Heinz Kerry campaigns for husband in Albuquerque
She said three key things that qualify Kerry to run the United States — he has purpose and character, he's a born diplomat and he has the respect and trust of world leaders.

Roberta Menicucci, 53, of Albuquerque sat near the front of the room and stood to shake Heinz Kerry's hand when she finished speaking. "She should be running for president," Menicucci said of Heinz Kerry.

"The country needs a leader like Kerry to mend relationships with other countries that were damaged by the Bush administration, Meniccuci said.

<snip>

The cynicism of politicians today is especially frightening and destructive of what is American, Heinz Kerry said.

Lt. Gov. Diane Denish, who heads the Kerry campaign in New Mexico, said the campaign will build momentum right into Tuesday's Democratic presidential caucus in New Mexico with visits from Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., and from Kerry himself.

6. Where is she at mentally?
Someone the other night mentioned this as well when they were talking about the potential first ladies.

TH Kerry just doesn't seem to "BE THERE" most of the time.

Where is she at mentally?

I still don't see her being there.

Not character assassination, just a fact.

I'm not the only one who sees it.

17. she seems to get along with everyone
i never met her myself. but watching her speak with different people she got along with every single one of them. no exaggeration either. she was very comfortable talking to all, different ages, backgrounds etc. and they felt the same way with her. it's no wonder john kerry always looks so happy when she is there with him.

13. No, you talk to her and he is looking everywhere else
Not paying attention to anything going on.

I saw her again the other night after the NH Primaries and they were talking about the elections, and she wandered off into a discussion about when she was "taking a shower and John Kerry was shaving" and this and that, and I'm like..."WHERE ARE YOU AT WOMAN? WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING, LOL"?

15. Oh, man, are you mistaken
Did you hear the whole discussion about JK being in the bathroom? It was quite humorous. And, by the way, HE was in the shower. I don't think you got the whole story.

Read a bit about her before you criticize.

16. She's not a politican
Very much a charming and warm lady. Sometimes she does act "out there" but not because she isn't intellegent or flighty just because thats her style. She's very flowing and would be a powerful first lady.

If we would rank 1st ladies I'd put her at top, with Gert Clark second.

18. Um, they asked her about how JK reacted when she told him he won
And she said he was shaving when she told him in Iowa and he was showering when she told him in NH. He was excited and wanted to hug her, but he had shaving creme on the first time and was wet in NH, while she was already dressed and ready to go!

So she was telling a cute couple story in response to the question.

14. So is Clark (4)
Who cares?

Some of the best conmean and loonies in history have been fluent in more than one language.

That doesn't mean that she isn't "there" most of the time.

I'm not the only one who sees it, duh.
