The president looksl ike a lame duck when he's on the defensive
I've ben noticing this more and more now but it seems very true. When the Democrats attack him, it just gives him a time and place to shine and look like he's doing something good. But when they don't, it's the public who becomes uncertain of him and he is a lame duck. Giving him something to defend or attack(the same seeming from the Rovian book) will just help him, but leaving him to face the american people with the knowledge they are doubting him is much tougher. I think the Dems should shut up. Roughly about the same way they did in that cartoon of the elephant kicking his ass while the Donkey's too afraid to swing. It just seems like it helps them.

Sure there is justice that needs to be done, but whether or not that is made apparent by the Dems, the Repugs will just drown it out with their retoric. However, if there are no loud mouth Dems to attack, their defense is directly to the American people and that is the toughest. The repugs are in power, and the opposition power should only be showing the public their agenda and what they stand for. Not necessarily how they can do better in power and how they are less corrupt. Cause frankly I don't believe they are less corrupt. The culture of corruption is the corruption in politics. And it is bipartisan. Whether or not Abramoff gave money to Dems or not(they would've taken it if he had given).

I say the Dems stop the attack politics and let the Repugs start to beat the crap outta themselves. People will just be confused when there isn't an attack dog and focus on the president. Maybe I don't understand the whole thing too completely but I know that his approval rating is going up when the dems attack and he attacks back, but it goes down when they have nothing to attack.

I'm I making sense or still a little woozy from last night?

3. Walls are closing in around him
Even his feeble mind probably can grasp the situation.

4. Nah...
I think people are capable of seeing what the Bushies are doing even if the Democrats are nipping at their flanks. I don't see the attacks as hurting anything. They dug themselves into this hole, and if the Democrats point it out, so much the better. At least we know they're out there somewhere.

I'm not very big on letting fools run amok without commenting on what they're doing. That hasn't worked in the past. All these years of slanted media and no real critics have not done a thing to improve Bush's performance or ethics. If anything it has just encouraged him to push the envelope further.
