Bush's State of the Union?
What's he going to say that will be his saving grace?

Any predictions?

1. Not a prediction, but maybe wishful thinking:
"I quit..."

3. He's doing that now
"If you get a call from al Qaeda, know we're listening", or something to that effect. My problem isn't with that, it's with the fact that he didn't get a warrant-anything said in the call would be thrown out of court.

11. Don't know, don't care, I won't watch.
I haven't watched a SOU since 2003 (the "16 words" speech). I didn't watch the inauguration either.

I'll probably find something on Animal Planet during this year's SOU.

In San Francisco, this is planned:

If we're going to succeed in driving out this regime, we need to think big and plan big. Disgust with the Bush agenda has been growing as increased revelations come out about spying and wiretaps-on
top of the war, the torture, threatening Roe v. Wade…
In order to make a critical impact, we need to
have 5000-10,000 people gathering in a very public place that represents the Bay Area and will get serious media coverage. For that
reason, the local committee decided to change the
plan for the evening from 24th and Mission to Union Square. Union Square can hold a lot more people and will be impossible for the media
to ignore. There will be activities and teach-ins going on earlier in
the day (we'll keep you posted).
5:00 pm Rally
6:00 pm BRING THE NOISE! This is when Bush will be speaking and we will drown him out!
7:00 pm Help topple the giant 35ft paper statue of Bush
