O'Reilly: The new "Hit-man" for the Bush Admin
Edited on Mon Jan-02-06 10:14 PM by neurochaos
I watched O'Reilly tonight and heard him say that he will be digging into and publicly displaying dirt found on those who attack Bush. Then it hit me. After all of their bad policies coming back to haunt them and those who disagree with them making an impact last year, Bush's team said that they have to be more aggressive in responding to their critics. So Team Bush gets Faux News to Put O'Reilly as their lead man for the job of going after those who dare speak up to the lies. Now I know that he has always tried to be the heavy for Bush, but I think he will be more aggressive and blatant with it now. They can't have their poll numbers stay as low as they were and are and expect to get their agenda though. Just be ready for it people.

2. What ever happened to that "fair and balanced" thingy?
Kinda fell by the wayside, didn't it? DildO'Reilly isn't even pretending to be unbiased any more.

no bones about it. Baldly sold out, and totally on his knees to the Skull & Boner cabal, just like Jeff Gannon was, only without a lick of authentic duende.

22. appreciation
There are undoubtedly some folks out there who will appreciate this not unexpected development.I'm thinking of the people at crooks and liars, media matters, O'reilly sucks,sweetjesusihatebilloreilly.com, and newshounds will probably find their traffic counts rising. What a buffoon this guy is.Of course I'm for virtually anything that diminishes what little credibility faux news has.

5. O'Reilly has shot his credibility
He's left with his hard-core fans, just like Limbaugh.

Granted, it's a big-assed, loofah-scrubbin' number, but it's not enough to win an election with.

For that, you need Diebold.

was hilarious. Who does he think he is? He's as phony as they come. Maybe his "girlfriend" will write a book giving us more salacious details.

8. I about choked when he said
he was critical of Bush when justified. But somehow he felt it necessary to personally attack those who ciriticized Bush.

Only on matters of little significance. If he didn't approve of Harriet Miers then he had safety in numbers on that one.

He's a joke.

10. Ah, they are becoming agitated in their desperation.
That sort of dirty politics doesn't play well with the masses, particularly if the criticism of BushCo is based on fact. 2006 will be an investigation and hopefully indictment festival. Can't wait to hear them argue with that.

11. There may be a positive side to this...
*IF*, according to O'Reilly (and other loud mouth sexual harassers and/or drug addicts), it is wrong to question (or "attack") a sitting president (or party), then he will be out of a job himself when the next Dem enters office, correct? Either that *or* also "dig and publicly display dirt" on those attacking the sitting Dem??

This could be a win/win situation! O'Reilly gets crazier by the minute, doesn't he?

13. By purporting to sit in the middle,
O'Reilly IS the hitman for Murdoch and Ailes. He takes the tough strategic assignments.

The soft issues like gay rights, the environment, and the death penalty don't get his attention. He hammers mainly on one thing - "the elite" while Joe Sixpack is voting against his interest and eating O'Reilly's pablum.

He says that he is neutral/non-partisan in order to combat the underlying philosophy of democracy/secular humanists. He constantly attempts to undermine the Bill of Rights by attacking the ACLU. All media are "elite" Universities are "cultural supremacists". The NY Times is representative of pointy-headed pinheads out of touch with America. All these institutions want to "take God out of your life". Soros is dangerous but not Limbaugh.

His phony chair in the "middle" fools the gullible into believing that he is looking out for them.

Meanwhile, News Corp is clearchanneling the TV world.

Let me help get you started...

Smoked a bit back in the 70's. Had unprotected sex a couple times then too.
Oh wait, is that a good or a bad thing to you Right Wingnuts?

Sex = Bad / Not using Birth Control = Good? So hard to keep it all straight.

Then there was that little thing with the FBI, circa Summer 1970, but I don't
want to do all your work for you. Bring it on, Billy Boy.

*on edit - I almost forgot. Bush is the most idiotic excuse for a president ever to disgrace this country.

....do his thang. I tend to believe that we can give way to much credence to rants like his. FOX, or FAUX...I like that, whoever came up with it....can only spread their crap to those who are willing to hear it. And those are the ones we can't reach anyway.

Also comes in handy when you are desperate for viewers and have no shame or standards about the process for trying to stir up controversy (i.e., free publicity). What's next--stealing ideas from Jerry Springer's show?
