1. Does that cut look like he got it while clearing brush?
No scrapes or abrasions - looks more like he took a header against something sharp-edged, like a cocktail table.

3. Saw the cut on his forehead

but didn't see the 'whatever' at the corner of his mouth. But I did notice that the corner of his mouth was drooping and wondered about it. Just look at how red his ears and face are.

5. $40.00 @ a landscape or timberman's supply store.

He chokes on a pretzel while watching the super bowl?
Right after New Years he has fresh bumps on his face?

BTW did Gramps forget his store bought teeth, too?

7. The "scratch" is kind of troubling...
don't most people wear some kind of baseball cap when out cutting brush in the sun for hours on end? The scratch looks fairly deep--no bruising--but it also looks like the middle may have had some sort of butterfly clamp to close it.

8. I dunno
my husband looks like that all over his body when he bush hogs because he never met a tree he didn't think he could take down, then it comes back up and hits him in the face.

Wouldn't you think the secret service would keep him unscratched? I'm thinking the lip thing is a cold sore. He has that kind of complexion.

I'd think hitting his head on a coffee table would produce a knot.

Now..the choking on pretzels story? I never DID buy that one.
