Who has the photo of Ms Miller stroming the recount offices in 2000
"DeLay's office served as "a switchboard of sorts for volunteers looking to sign up" to help oversee or protest the recounts, according to a November 28, 2000, New York Times article. As the Times reported on November 24, 2000, young Republicans "tried to rush the doors outside the office of the Miami-Dade supervisor of elections." Responding to Democrats' characterizations of the November 22 protest as "intimidation" by "out-of-state, paid political operatives," as reported in the November 28 Times, Miller defended the protesters' actions: "This was not a threatening band of armed thugs; They were idealistic, enthusiastic young Republicans who felt they were being shut out, that this was an unfair decision ."

1. How about this photo?

This angry mob, which successfully stopped the recount in Miami-Dade County during the 2000 election standoff, was portrayed by the media as an uprising by Florida voters.

Here are the identities of the protesters:
1. Tom Pyle, policy analyst, office of House Majority Whip Tom DeLay (R-Tex.).
2. Garry Malphrus, majority chief counsel and staff director, House Judiciary subcommittee on criminal justice.
3. Rory Cooper, political division staff member at the National Republican Congressional Committee.
4. Kevin Smith, former House Republican conference analyst and more recently of Voter.com.
5. Steven Brophy, former aide to Sen. Fred D. Thompson (R-Tenn.), now working at the consulting firm KPMG.
6. Matt Schlapp, former chief of staff for Rep. Todd Tiahrt (R-Kan.), now on the Bush campaign staff in Austin.
7. Roger Morse, aide to Rep. Van Hilleary (R-Tenn.).
8. Duane Gibson, aide to Chairman Don Young (R-Alaska) of the House Resources Committee.
9. Chuck Royal, legislative assistant to Rep. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.).
10. Layna McConkey, former legislative assistant to former Rep. Jim Ross Lightfoot (R-Iowa) now at Steelman Health Strategies.

4. Any of these yuppie-thugs associated with Abramoff?
The where-they-are-now portion of the caption is very dated. For example, #9: Jim Dimwit is now a US Senator from SC (and a damn poor one, I might add!).

5. Thank you for providing those photos. This is what I was looking
for. I was kind of expecting to see Ms Miller in the photo.

6. They were just
idealistic, enthusiastic Nazi youth who felt it was their patriotic duty to kill democracy, as they screamed "how dare they count the votes". Meanwhile the fourth estate went on vacation during the coup of 2000.
