latest SC poll
Here's the results from last nights poll. They will have one more tonight. Certainly looks like a 2 man race. We'll see whether endorsements outweigh the hometown factor.

http://www.columbiaprimary.com/SCIndexPollResults.html

Edwards - 26% 25%
Kerry - 16% 22%

1. Clark at 7% in SC?
I find that hard to believe. He has been in double digits in every poll there since he entered the race.

8. I thought the DLC...
Edited on Fri Jan-30-04 04:49 PM by fujiyama
didn't really have a problem with Clark?

I thought it was just Dean they didn't like...Or was questioning Bush's military record too much for the DLC?

9. No it's some people here who have a problem thwi the DLC
They will slam the DLC when they don't even know what they are talking about. All one has to do is read their post here to see that.

3. sorry for the crappy formatting
Clark has not seemed to catch any momentum in SC, one of the most 'military-friendly' states in the US.

4. How hard did you have to look for that
americanresearchgroup.com reports:
SC:
Carol Moseley Braun NI 1% 1% 4% 5% 3% 3% NI
Wesley Clark 0% 0% 0% 7% 17% 15% 12% 14%
Howard Dean 2% 2% 3% 6% 7% 9% 16% 9%
John Edwards 8% 7% 10% 16% 10% 7% 8% 21%
Dick Gephardt 11% 9% 8% 5% 7% 7% 7% NI
John Kerry 1% 8% 6% 5% 4% 3% 2% 17%
Dennis Kucinich NI 0% 1% 1% 1% 1% 1% 1%
Joe Lieberman 22% 19% 14% 7% 8% 9% 7% 5%
Al Sharpton 4% 3% 4% 5% 5% 9% 12% 15%
Undecided 51% 47% 48% 42% 36% 32% 29% 18%

Edawrds and undecided lead here, from a much more reliable source.

6. Lieberman at four?
Does this mean, thanks to the voters of south carolina, that he's now in a four way tie for third? :D

10. I don't think so
CNN just reported that Edwards at 25% Kerry@18% and Clark@17% and CNN is not a friend of Clark

13. If you want to test the accuracy of these SC Polls
Al Sharpton is the LITMUS TEST!

If Sharpton is below 10% then the poll is crap!

Just like Zogby's poll was. Edwards is way ahead of Kerry, when you factor in the black vote.

Sharpton was only at 5% in Zogby's poll despite the fact that almost 50% of the voters next Tuesday are going to be black???

WHATEVER!

Any poll that has Sharpton below 10% is underrepresenting the proportion of blacks in the electorate that will be voting next week.

Period.
