1. also gone from the printer-friendly page
nice catch. I guess MSNBC thought that Mitchell's question about a specific reporter being illegally bugged by the President is of no interest to its viewers. Especially since it would seriously undermine Bush's case that only terrorists have been bugged.

4. Or they were scared of BushCo
Why would Mitchell choose Amanpour. I know of her husband, but where specifically is Mitchell getting this info. If she was just fishing, why choose Amanpour. Why not choose, I dont know, David Gregory? She must know something. How long has she known?

2. Our ever credible "news" media.
What was it the man said about an independent, aggressive press and liberty?

6. This one
Mitchell: You don't have any information, for instance, that a very prominent journalist, Christiane Amanpour, might have been eavesdropped upon?

Risen: No, no I hadn't heard that.

8. go read jon's commentary about this at www.americablog.com
it is a HUGE thing and a deeply enlightening one give the craveness of the press. did they get hints of their personal peccadilloes from the nazis to keep them in line? It would be possible if they were being bugged.

11. Excellent point!
Also along with Daschle, one of the rags that did an unflattering story on the * twins also was rewarded with an anthrax letter.

Funny how that works.
