JUSTICE SUNDAY III AIMS TO FOCUS ON ACTIVIST JUDGES, ALITO NOMINATION

A Special Announcement from Jerry Falwell

I am pleased to announce that I will be participating in Justice Sunday III, a special event at Greater Exodus Baptist Church in Philadelphia wherein several conservative leaders will unite to educate people of faith on how the judiciary impacts our lives and to show how activist judges are seeking to abolish God from the American public square.

Sponsored by the Family Research Council, "Justice Sunday III — Proclaim Liberty Throughout the Land!" will be simulcast across the nation on Sunday, January 8, the eve of Senate hearings on President Bush’s Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito.

The time of the broadcast is 7:00-8:30 p.m. ET and 9:00-10:30 p.m. ET. The program can be seen on Angel Two (#9702) on the Sky Angel Nationwide Satellite Television System. In addition, it can be seen at 7:00-8:30 p.m. PST and 10-11:30 p.m. ET on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.

I am encouraging my readers to tune into this important telecast. The program will also be carried on a host of Christian television stations, on hundreds of radio stations and through a webcast.

Also speaking at this event will be Tony Perkins, president of Family Research Council, Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family, Rev. Herbert Lusk of Greater Exodus Baptist Church, Bishop Wellington Boone of The Father’s House, Dr. Alveda C. King and Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.).

I would encourage pastors to allow your congregations to gather together and watch the program at your churches to foster a sense of unity.

It is readily apparent that our religious freedoms are under attack in America. We must join together to win back these rights. Justice Sunday III will serve as a great means for people of faith to join together to confront the culture.

Please make sure to tune in for this critical broadcast.

1. Thank you. It is time to always use the word "activist" when talking about
Scalito.
