Set Democrats.org as your homepage
And check it every day. It's a beautiful website.

http://www.democrats.org/

You can see what your party is doing at the national and local level and what you can do for your party at any level.

You can see how millions of dollars are raised through small donations and funneled back into local communities.

You can see how grass-roots organizing and national policy makers can work together to make our country better.

You can invest in Democracy bonds and donate to Katrina relief.

The party is not just talking about reform, the party is reform.

You can see that our challengers are thrashing Republican incumbents even in the reddest states.

There is a wealth of resources, info, opportunities for feedback, action alerts, events, and it's very uplifting to see the positive energy driving our party. Forget anti-depressants, this site will make you feel better.

Before you whine that Democrats are not doing anything, check it out and see for yourself. Democracy is better than any pharmaceutical product, hell it's even better than drinking a mocha latte in your Toyota Prius on your way to Costco.

We are taking our country back and Chairman Dean is leading the way.

6. You can do this using Firefox's Tab browsing feature...
Go to the ones you want as your "Homepages"... then go up to "Tools"... then to "Options" and "General"... where you see "Homepage" click "Use Current Pages" then Ok to save. Everytime you bring up Firefox it will go to those Homepages.

The only problem I've run into, and why I have some saved on my Toolbar is because I use a very slow dial-up connection if I have too many (over 4) they tend to time out so I have to refresh each separately and that's if the site was found in the first place.

:-)

5. Thanks for the resource. If we had a democracy, I'd agree with you
in some of your other statements.

Unless and until the Dem Party makes the fair and transparent counting of votes a number one priority, I don't see how the aims of the party, however well pictured, can be realized to any substantial degree.

Nevertheless, it's essential to keep the dream out front where it can be seen and this is a great way to do it. Thanks again.

10. Didn't I just tell you to go to the site
Elections Reform:

http://www.democrats.org/a/national/election_reform/

Before you ask why the Dems aren't doing anything, go to the site and see for yourself and ask how you can help.

11. A national party must be built from a strong foundation
all politics is local, and election reform starts from the bottom up.

kicking because I can
