This made for TV movie was banned by our local NBC affiliate after 300 or so RW flaming religious kooks called up and demanded such. Well...I send KSNW an email today and I guess so did a HELL of alot of others along with angry phone calls. They reversed their decision and will show the movie.

6. What I find most ironic about this whole thing is that

the actor playing Jesus, Garret Dillahunt, also played the evil, sexual sadist, Francis Wolcott on Deadwood.
You'd think they would be praising his salvation in choosing to portray a more wholesome character.

7. I've been seeing the ads for it all week here...

in East Tenn. I'm looking forward to watching it cuz it looked funny as hell! No one made a big deal over George Burns or Jim Carey playing GOD in a movie, or Michael Landon talking to an angel.. whats the big deal about a minister talking to Jesus? Isn't that what ministers do? :shrug: Herr Chimporer talks about God on T.V. all the time... lighten up wingnuts! I'm looking forward to some good laughs!
