Poll: Democrats Favored to Control Congress

A new poll AP-Ipsos taken this week on the heels of Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff pleading guilty to tax evasion, fraud and corruption charges shows that Americans are leaning more toward giving back control of Congress to Democrats. The poll found that Democrats are favored 49 percent to 36 percent.

President Bush’s job approval remains low — 40 percent in the AP-Ipsos poll. About as many approve of his handling of Iraq, where violence against Iraqis and U.S. troops has surged.

2. If the vote count isn't honest, polls won't mean a thing

I truly believe that both Gore and Kerry won their elections, but were gypped out of victory by rethug thugs and crooked vote-counting.
