Freeper gnashing of teeth over Delay ousting

The commies win again. Who needs elections?

That's what this whole witch hunt was about. To get rid of DeLay and yet again, the snakes have slithered out their way.

Great. So without a fight, the Republicans let another leader get taken down by a bogus scandal. As far as I'm concerned, the entire Republican party should be fired en masse, not be allowed to re-run for their posts, and have new people compete for the vacated seats. This is just pathetic.

Because the limp spined Republicans (some of them) are more afraid of the dims and the media than they are of the terrorists. I would like to see who signed the surrender petition.

YEP!!! your right. We eat our own!!! What a shame. This will NOT HELP the Republican party in the long run!! Watch it affect our elections coming up. It is dangerous to discourage the base!!!!

Unbelieveable how deeply these freeper drones have drunk the kool-aid. Delay is a bad guy. Have they no shame?

8. These folk can't be all super rich fundie corporate masters
Why are these freepers so bent on following liars and crazies. I have right wing family members who still love bushco even while loosing jobs, benefits, etc. while America becomes the pariah of the world. What, some liberal steal their girlfriend/boyfriend long ago?

3. This one might actually be a good idea!

I could go along with that! ;-)

4. Gee I wonder if these same freepers think it's okay for DeLay's family,
wife etc. to get "jobs" via bribe money for hundreds of thousands of dollars... I wonder if it ever occurs to them that (most of) their families wouldn't be "eligible" for such largesse since they aren't with the "in crowd".

Doesn't bother them, I guess...

21. That reminds me. That smarmy wife of DeLay's better be indicted, too
The family that does time together, stays together.

It's Jim 'n' Tammy all over again!

(Yes, I know Tammy didn't do any time... but she should have.)

5. And these fools are NOT in the top 1 percent profiting under Bush.
Cause, you know, I just don't see the top 1 percent (re income, not morals or patriotism)lurking on
DU or pissing and moaning on a freeper website. More likely these are the millionaire wannabes who think if they just keep voting for greed & corruption that one glorious, hallelujah day they will be part of this super wealthy elite. I guess Jebus will make sure they win the lottery or something.

22. I believe the term is "useful idiots". Or, as Jack Abramoff called
them, "wackos" or "troglodytes".

6. the difference between freepers and DUers
I remember when the Abramoff scandal first broke, and we weren't sure where his tainted money went. I recall reading several posts where folks said that if a Dem were found to have been involved in the scandal, good riddance to that Dem. Interesting that the freepers immediately decide that nothing wrong was done, that it was all politics. I guess they don't know the difference between politics and legality.

PS-Love the Aggressive Progressive, btw!

18. I think one was around yesterday
just from the sound of his post-and the fact that I checked his profile and nothing was there-and there was only the one post of his that I could find, even though there was a higher post count by his name. (Yes, I alerted the mods) So I hope said freeper and his friends are here reading this right now!

7. When one has his head far enough up his anus,
one is forever denied the ability to see reality.
They are to be pitied, after being tried, convicted, and imprisoned to await their fate as the traitors they turned out to be. There is no excuse for such deliberate self-delusion.

9. I've been asking myself the same questions. Why do the freepers
not recognize there were and are illegal actions done?

I guess I partly understand some who still support Shrub. I still defend Clinton, and did back when he was in trouble too. (Although I've said all along that for being as smart as he is, he was very stupid to play and think he wouldn't get caught!)

I am having trouble understanding why so many are still supporting DeLay. Even if they really believe the Tx. issue is bogus, Tom has been in ethics trouble many times in the past, and the acusations have not only been by Dems. Wouldn't ya think even the most loyal Pubs would see there must be something very wrong with what he does?

Of course, there's still many people who really still believe Nixon didn't do anything wrong and was railroaded!

10. Jeez
the way they talk, you'd think they were the minority party across the board.

The commies win again. Who needs elections? <---- WTF?

It's not like Dems forced him to resign b/c he had some private act thrust into the public sphere, I dunno, like. . . A BLOWJOB !!!!

Well, seeing as we may have soup kitchens again before long, the way things are going. We have secret prisons, and we spy on our own citizens illegally. Coupled with the fact that elections seem to be a farce now (thanks diebold) does anyone else think that this sounds a LOT like what was happening under the Soviet Union ? The freeper may have mistargetted, but the message is truer than he thinks.

13. OH...This is TOO GOOD!
It's fun to watch freeper freak...or hear 'em, tune in to Sean Hannity on Monday and you'll hear him say pretty much the same thing, only he'll drag the Clintons into it (somehow) and blame the left-leaning media bias and Bush-haters.

I'm in Texas, and all too familiar with Tom Delay, dyed hair and all. This guy is a sleezy pompous ass buffoon. And, this is a big victory for our side. Should get better before it's over. Have fun.
