Why not pile on today? A fine upstanding baptist minister in Okra-homa (no-typo) got arrested last week for wanting to take a policeman into his hotel room for oral sex. Praise the Lord!

The man swears he was set up. He was just "pastoring to police" (in front of the Habana Inn where male prostitutes are known to congregate.) Of course he has a record of speaking out against anything homosexual. He's probably on free republic right now singing the praises of the hammer. tom probably was set up too!

and thanks for asking. Everyday brings another opening and good news. Still a lot of angst and pain in many neighborhoods but lots of positive things happening. I was in the quarter last week and its still pretty weird. More relief workers than tourists. Schools are opening. Lots of restaurants open and they all have Help Wanted Signs out. The twin span bridge from Slidell to New Orleans now has all four lanes operable as of Friday Morning. Hubigs pies back in business next week. The city is booking alot of conventions for the fall, Hornet scheduled to play a couple games in town in March, Superdome should be up and running no later than September. The Crescent City Classic (10-k race) on schedule for 15 April. The French Qtr Fest will be rocking the city the following weekend. Lots of good news.
