A PRAYER FOR DELAY

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door," cries the daughter of liberty from cold tumultous waters but I wonder if she really means what she says these days.

As in the Kingdom, all are equal in America and endowed by the Creator with inalienable rights, free will and dignity. In a nation based on laws not men, no one is above the law. We the People must no longer accept a double standard of Justice, where the wealthy and politically powerful are above laws that grind the poor and middle-class into submission. Equal representation in a court of law does not mean those who cannot afford some dream-team of expensive lawyers must settle for an over-burdened public defender. To rob a single individual is wrong and demands swift justice. Robbing a whole nation represents multiple counts of theft and high courts must deal with political corruption accordingly. In public office, theft takes on several guises but a rotting rose by any other name is still rotten to the core and cannot mask its putrid smell. Divine guidance, according to most major religions is not the province of tyrants and kings because hypocritical rulers only worship money and power. How long will America sit in a trance while media plays a southing flute of lies? How long will the people dance to the music of tyranny, as corruption runs amuck? I will not judge politically corrupt individuals but I pray that those who prey on us all will taste true justice here on Earth, so that they might improve themselves before meeting their Maker.

You are really big. So enormously huge. We're all really impressed down here I can tell you. Now if it wouldn't be too much of a bother, could you please arrange for Tom Delay to have a large, gay black man as a cell mate in prison. And no lubricant whatsoever? Thanks.

Still, this looks to be about ten amendments and a good Bill of Rights. Delay is entitled to these rights under God and law.

To sum it up: realize the word Amen, used by Jews, Muslims and Christians alike, translates directly into the phrase “so be it” and is an expression of the confirmation, clearly indicated by our Pied-Piper media. I wish you all sweet dreams of Justice and remember, it all starts with a dream.
