Poll question: Who Is Going To Be A More Influential Voting Bloc In 2004? |
|
Dean's young, new-to-politics grassroots?
or
Kerry's old, new-to-politics veterans groups?

3. Kerry has the youth vote too |
|
The only vote Kerry didn't win was college educated liberals, if memory serves.

well, there's simply more of the young, new-to-politics people out there than there are veterans.
point being, whoever the nominee is they're all voting for the same person: George W. Bush. . . . okay, that last part was a joke

They have a more consistent voting record. Dean's young new-to-politics voters (me included) are too hit or miss so to speak. I thought I saw some stats that Kerry won more of the college towns in Iowa and the younger voters in NH.

Dean did get some college towns in New Hampshire, but most of the youth vote was split between him and Kerry. With Dean getting a slight advantage in voters aged 18-29.
