Depleted Uranium malignancies, birth defects and disability
Depleted Uranium: Dirty Bombs, Dirty Missiles, Dirty Bullets A Death Sentence Here and Abroad
By Leuren Moret

This week the American Free Press dropped a "dirty bomb" on the Pentagon by reporting that eight out of 20 men who served in one unit in the 2003 US military offensive in Iraq now have malignancies. That means that 40 percent of the soldiers in that unit have developed malignancies in just 16 months.

Since these soldiers were exposed to vaccines and depleted uranium (DU) only, this is strong evidence for researchers and scientists working on this issue, that DU is the definitive cause of Gulf War Syndrome. Vaccines are not known to cause cancer. One of the first published researchers on Gulf War Syndrome, who also served in 1991 in Iraq, Dr. Andras KorŽnyi-Both, is in agreement with Barbara Goodno from the Department of Defense's Deployment Health Support Directorate, that in this war soldiers were not exposed to chemicals, pesticides, bioagents or other suspect causes this time to confuse the issue.

3. This was just sent to me from a friend who has been in the army for 24
years. I don't think she ever was in combat but she said every woman friend of hers who has served a long time has immune disorders. She had the endometriosis so bad she had a hysterectomy at age 40. Now she has Rheumatoid arthritis which has been linked to some type of bacteria, (some with Rheumatoid take small doses of anti-biotic every day as treatment). She also has fibromyalgia and a whole long laundry list of other problems.

She gets pain so bad that she has to go to the emergency room so they can shoot her up with meds. Plus she has to inject herself in the stomach once a week, (for the Rheumatoid) and she has some sort of nose spray for pain. She walks with a cane a lot of the time.

And the army still has not given her her disability discharge. They keep fucking around with her, messing up the paper work etc. If she just leaves she loses her benefits.

9. You only have a limited number of seconds to make a DNA

strand repair... it you get multiple damages to the same strand, it is almost a sure thing that it will be permanent, that is why higher levels of radiation are more damaging to the body.

4. Respiratory diseases also. Much information on the net
Edited on Sun Jan-08-06 07:51 AM by Maraya1969
Cancer, respiratory diseases and horrible birth defects have been widespread in Iraq even after Gulf War I and are bound to increase.

Illegal weapons of mass destruction have not only been found in Iraq but have been used against Iraqis and have even killed US troops.

But Washington and its allies have tried to cover up this outrage because the chief culprit is the US itself, argue American and other experts trying to expose what they say is a war crime.

"They're using it now, they're using it in Falluja, Baghdad is chock-a-block with DU - it's all over the place," says Major Doug Rokke, director of the US army's DU project in 1994-95.

DU has a "half-life" of 4.5 billion years, meaning it takes that long for just half of its atoms to decay.

6. This is not supposed to be for Public Awareness! Spread the truth about
DU. Ordinary folks know the devastation of cancer and cancer treatments--this is worse.

Some things never change, our own f*cking gov't is responsible for the death and illness of not only our troops, but the citizens/soldiers of Iraq dating back to 1991, from the first Gulf War

A long read

both were in Iraq as soldiers in 2003. I am worried, very worried. She go out with pregnancy. SHe has already served more than 4 years as a Marine and over 2 as a Army soldier. He was stop lossed in Feb 03 , got out in October 03 and the was back drafted in dec 04.

I worry for their baby daughter. My DIL had a growth on her head from Iraq. Army said it was a boil.

I keep sending them DU articles.

He wants to get out but thinks there is no decent jobs for him.

They both went in the Army for that reason.
