Will we see scandals/indictments soon for voter fraud? |
|
I'm hoping this is coming down the pike. If we really have a justice department that is seeking honesty in government, despite pressure from the totally corrupt * administration, this might occur. Maybe the coup is not quite complete. O8)

Of course, although vote fraud was rampant, voter fraud was not.

Voter fraud means that the voters took money to vote a certain way-used to be booze. Some of this always goes on, I imagine, but, in the big picture, is insignificant. Vote fraud, however, far more important, is the massive defrauding of the voting franchise. They (the crooks in charge) screwed with the votes.

14. 'vote fraud' is bad too |

using the word 'vote' at all - a lot of people are going to think you are referring to fraudulent voters.
It's Election Fraud. I'm Faye, and I'm a broken record :hi: :)

it's election fraud.
fraud committed by the voters would be voter fraud. i also think 'consumer fraud' is a load of crap, it's not the consumer who commits the fraud.
voter fraud/vote fraud is the term the right wing uses to cover up what is really going on. instead of discussing or dealing with the real issues, which are the voting machines, they blame it on the one in a few voters who might vote more than once, etc. which is why they are trying to make it so we have to present ID before voting.
i try to encourage all to use the term Election Fraud. it makes a huge difference in how other people interpret what you're referring to.

One has to deal with the situation as one finds it, rather than as we wish it were.

At least that's my opinion.
The same thing goes for the Fitzgerald charade (the man was appointed by Ashcroft and works for the Justice Department, which is contrary to the special prosecutor statute.)
Sure, we might see some occasional "action" for window dressing. But it's pretty plain that they're just running out the clock.

4. I keep saying the Noe/Abramoff connection MAY be the EF "smoking gun" |
|
Noe's former aid recently worked for Abramoff (or the other way round). And Noe is the one who laundered Billions of Workers' Comp money to funnel into Repug campaigns IN OHIO (judicial, congressional too as I understand)...in addition to nationwide to many Congressmen and Senators.
Noe "knows" plenty about the inner-facts of EF, is my guess. As does Abramoff. The "smoking guns" are there...and beging to emerge...if anyone has the courage to explore them...instead of just focusing on illegal fundraising.

7. I heard several weeks ago that Noe had criminal charges applied. |
|
Not sure if the technical word is "indictment," but he was legally charged for these crimes, and my understanding is that Shrub can NOT "pardon" on a State level crimes such as these.
Noe's gonna squeel...

15. we would need a dude like fitzgerald to pull this off - nothing less |

because of complicit Dems involved in the election fraud cover-up. Most Dems remained silent about Ohio-Florida like it was a figment of our imaginations.

17. Abramoff has some connections with Diebold/Wally O'Dell... |
|
I know he's tied to Bob Taft who's been indicted on fraud charges. I wonder if he's also tied to Ken Blackwell who was sabotaging the vote recounts in Ohio. I hope so because I want to see Blackwell go down.
