Reps Murtha & Moran demonstrate that they don’t have a clue.

During their town hall meeting on C-span , a young woman asked about the Pentagon missing TRILLIONS, which was announced by Rumsfeld at a press conference on Sept 10, 2001. (Funny timing, eh)

Both Moran and Murtha don’t even know about it… they say she must be talking about Billions- they brush off the intelligent young lady as if she doesn’t have a clue- when it fact it is they- the elected Representatives that are uninformed.

IMO, to not know about this huge story of the missing Trillions, illustrates that these two CongressCritters are incompetent.

Wash. Journal one morning and a Dem called in and asked her to discuss PNAC and its role in getting the US entangled in Iraq. She said she'd never heard of it and couldn't comment.

What these people we pay to "represent" us don't know is astonishing and frightening. The average DUer is way better informed.

7. Kind of a rant....

I was watching this today, and cheering on the courageous, well informed young woman asking the question. Expecting Moran and Murtha to welcome the question, my mouth dropped open with their denials. I was so po'd and lost all respect for Murtha. I am an "oldster" - 61 years - and never in my life have I seen so much corruption in our government with so few who are in a position to do something about it shirk their responsibilities. I am so freaking fed up as there seems to be no solution to rectify the abominable mess this administration, enabled by spineless, corrupt senators and representatives, has made of our country.

Sorry for the rant, but everyday it just gets WORSE!

8. I watched that dialog between Moran and the questionnaire

The young lady stood firm. Moran said she was wrong and didn't want to argue with her.

public way... but fax over the information to Murtha and Moran's offices - make sure the headings is in big bold type - and take it from there..

please don't let something this important disappear into the ether and cyber space (like here)...

make sure it gets out there far and wide... LTTE's contact your reps etc..
