I was so furious that a "friend" would send some crap like this to me KNOWING my views! I have never sent things to them that I knew was against their views! I know that there was plenty that I left out, but just shot this back to them! Probably, our friendship is over. Oh well, they weren't real friends to start with! Is anyone else getting this crap???

has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled
al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and, North
Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who
slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.
The Democrats are complaining
about how long the war is taking.
But
It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno
to take the Branch Davidian compound.
That was a 51-day operation.
We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons
in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find
the Rose Law Firm billing records.
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the
Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard
than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his
Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.
It took less time to take Iraq than it took
to count the votes in Florida!!!!

Some people still don't understand why military personnel
do what they do for a living. This exchange between
Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenbaum
is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive
impromptu speech, but it's also a good example of one
man's explanation of why men and women in the armed
services do what they do for a living.
This IS a typical, though sad, example of what
some who have never served think of the military.
Senator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn):
"How can you run for Senate
when you've never held a real job?"
Senator Glenn (D-Ohio):
"I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps.
I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions.
My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different
occasions. I was in the space program. It wasn't my
checkbook, Howard; it was my life on the line. It was
not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the
daily cash receipts to the bank."
"I ask you to go with me ... as I went the other day...
to a veteran's hospital and look those men ...
with their mangled bodies . in the eye, and tell THEM
they didn't hold a job!
You go with me to the Space Program at NASA
and go, as I have gone, to the widows and Orphans
of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee...
and you look those kids in the eye and tell them
that their DADS didn't hold a job.
You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in

representing the Communist Party in the USA.

I will try my best to put the truth to this ridiculous email... Obviously, your history is different than the history that is recorded in history books.... It literally scares me that there are people out there believing this garbage sent out in emails by right wing propagandists as fact! I suggest that you diverse yourself in the collection of current events and clarify your history of past events!

For God's sake, what about PEARL HARBOR????? This was a just war.
In answer to b.:
German submarines were sinking American ships right and left that were sending aid to our compatriots ENGLAND!!! That's not provacation???
In answer to c.:
No, but we were ASKED by the South Koreans for help and we stopped the North Koreans from taking over South Korea. It was a just war.
In answer to d.:
I beg your pardon, we had so called "military advisors" in Vietnam under President Eisenhower already in place when Kennedy came in office.

Yes, Johnson was wrong... there's no doubt about the fact that Vietnan was a total disaster and I don't believe there are many who will say otherwise; but, Nixon continued it until the people (Americans) revolted and only ended it in his second term right before he was forced to resign or be impeached!

Clinton went to Bosnia to stop genocide or "ethnic cleasning" and IT WORKED. He pulled out immediately. He accomplished what he set out to do and millions of people's lives were saved. The time to capture Osama Bin Laden was when he was holed up in the mountains of Tora Bora and Bush would not send the proper troops to capture him there... instead we went to where the OIL was in Iraq and fueled world terrorism.... we were not attacked by Iraq. They had nothing to do with 9-11. There is no connection. That is now fact and the war was based on the lies and manipulation of intelligence by this administration. Time will tell this true story.... just wait and see. The truth has a way of lighting up darkness and good overcomes evil....

Their elections were a sham, civil war is about to break out, their infastructure is shot, religious fanatics are about to take over the government (just as they are trying to here).... He has made Iraq a breeding ground for recruiting new terrorists for alQaida! 15 troops were killed just Sunday in Iraq....Crushed the Taliban??? They're hiding out with Bin Laden sending us nice little videos regularly and their recruitment is up! Nuclear Inspectors have NEVER been in North Korea, were thrown OUT of Iran... they are currently pursuing their nuclear arms program, full steam ahead! In the years since our current administration we have lost the respect of most of the civilized world through this administration's use of torture, lies, and corruption....
