Anyone else wondering if we're being given information about Sharon designed to help the Bush administration? They have a knack for subterfuge.

I wonder if there's any realistic hope of recovery, or whether they're keeping him alive to keep his office from others for now. He was supposed to have been declared dead, then they put him into a coma. I'm dubious.

I looked for a thread on Sharon, but didn't see one.

they just cannot let go.

Blitzer flew to Israel almost immediately after Sharon's stroke and has been broadcasting from there, in search of a story.

Yesterday he interviewed Netanyahu, next to whom Sharon is a dove... The U.S. media loves Netanyahu.... raised in the U.S. who speaks perfect non-accented English, using the American jargon.

It really does not matter whether Sharon is dead or alive. His involvement in any activities - politics or other - is finished.

Unless anyone in this country thinks that he or she can manipulate the next elections in Israel - and no one can - they'd better just sit tight and watch and deal with whatever cards will be handled to them.
