Will be confirmed/oppose. (Assume he will be confirmed because I believe the ship of state is already too badly holed by the Bush Administration to remain afloat, and Alito will surely be the final step in the corporate/Republican/Christian {i.e., fascist} conversion of America into the Fourth Reich.)

this is an AOL poll, and AOL is to the Internet what the Dunce Cap was to 19th Century classrooms.
Though one other poll -- this one scientific -- has shown that fully 55 percent of all Americans support Alito's confirmation. Given that 63 percent of all Americans now identify themselves as Christian fundamentalists by the belief that biblical folklore is literally true, this is yet another reason I believe the ship of state is holed beyond repair: fundamentalism and liberty are not only contradictions in terms but are mutually exclusive.
