The Most Explosive Corruption Investigation In Congressional History....
let's hope the Repugs and the MSM RW press are not hyping this beyond what it is so later when things fizzle out and only a couple of Repugs go down they can say the whole scandal was Dem partisan politics. In this case they could be setting the bar high so that it comes in well under what was expected (i.e., the most explosive corruption investigation in congressional history)and * and the Repugs weasel out of the fray.

3. low expectations
main point: Repugs are in charge. Repugs will "lead" the "investigation" Translation: the foxes are in charge of the hen house.

What I hope happens is for this whole thing to blow wide open, the "trail" leads right into the oval office and it's enough to enrage the public to call for impeachment.

what I expect will happen:
1. scandal will fade from the headlines and from "sheeple's" memory
2. investigations by Justice Dept/others will drag on well past November 2006 midterms before we receive any new "startling" information
3. repugs will make alot of noise about reform, but any resulting legislation/rules will just be window dressing
