2. They ignored Cindy Sheehan and I'll bet they'd also ignore that letter...

Pretty sad.. but even if it was answered, I'll bet it wouldn't be by Laura Bush.

They'd probably receive some generic response from Laura's staff..

3. Probably an exercise in futility

But sometimes it's the gestures that look most futile that are the most efficacious.

I'd recommend for folks sending the letter to re-tool it a little bit, but by all means, repeat the Cindy Sheehan question posed in the letter: What is the "noble cause" that our children are killing and dying for?
