WTF? Grassley doesn't think promises made to the Senate
or to constituents are in any way binding? As long as they are forgotten in good faith?

2. I don't see
where Alito is that brilliant in his responses. We have been told by Der Monkey he will bring class to the Supreme Court. Of course, what would he know about class,eh.

4. I had to turn kyl off before he turned my stomach
Grassley was bad enough.

I agree, I have not seen any brilliance in his responses. Roberts, to be honest, is extremely sharp, knowledgable and totally at ease with the role of the Supremes. Even if I disagree with some of his positions, in some cases very strongly, he certainly was qualified for the bench. Clearly he is smarter than Thomas and very probably smarter than Scalia. In fact, I am (slightly) relieved that scalia was not named to be chief. Roberts strikes me as more rational.

This guy isn't even close. His ideology has been well-hidden from a week of 8 hour sessions of practice, play acting and attack dog inquisitions from trial lawyers. Still, he seems not in the same league. I suspect that he will be a disaster for the US, and eventually, Roberts will flip and become the new majority towards centrist positions.

6. I was listening
when I was at the farm cleaning my horse stalls. I thought I had a load of shit but Grassley, well he beat me. I thankfully missed Kyl.

5. Politicians assume that their constituents assume
that they are lying. It's just a matter of creative wording so they can sqirm out of it if the electorate holds their feet to the fire. And you wonder why Congress has an even lower approval rate than Fearless Leader.

Assume: Make an ASS out of U and ME.
