2. Correct. Good analogy
the preponderance of evidence weighs in on Kerry's side.
He's the heavyweight, everyone else is still in training. (Except for Clark, but he was in training for another job before this)

6. The "Don't hate me because I am beautiful" approach to outreach
Always works...Keep it up guys. The media can only carry you that far.

7. Not everyone's math is the same
but the results have been very good so far for Kerry, so my own math seems to be accurate so far.

14.  Why so angry, Sweetheart ?
Dyspeptic feelings.Declaratory sentences void of rationale. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh! You believed the Premature Ejaculation cyber polls that an insurgent was storming to the nomination & going to be ransacking party headquarters?

3. Too many things are "math" with kerry: dissing the South, the coup 2000
Edited on Fri Jan-30-04 07:14 PM by robbedvoter
I tend to be more emotional about these things...Some I can't get over. Such as providing W with the legal basis for his next war (Syria).
See my handle? I am one of them crying in my teacup. I swore on Jan 6, 2001: no senator will get my vote after legitimizing W. No math to me.
(and I didn't even get to the IWR)
It's about convictions with me. My candidate shares mine so he gets my full support. Period.

5. Pete, that calculation is true for you but not necessarily others
It's a value judgment and to post it as "fact" is disingenous. Why are you starting this thread that will just end up in a flamewar. Count me disappointed in you :-(

16. Didn't you know
that the DLC secretly inserted "vote for Kerry" microchips in the brain of every "average" Democratic voter in America? They had to quickly undo all that damage that was done when the evil media was declaring the Kerry campaign dead in the water.

The evil PNAC, err..DLC had to do something sneaky because the evil media was focusing all their attention on supposed frontrunners and ignoring the Kerry campaign. They're probably in cahoots with that evil Karl Rove who is so frightened of the early Democratic frontrunners that they had to do this evil and drastic thing. Gotta do something to help the "average" voter think. That's why they tricked some of the other candidates into doing things that might "turn off" the "average" voter. Didn't ya know that? It's a big, bad conspiracy.

11. Against other Dem candidats, yes, in two states
It still does not prove that he can beat Bush, and it doesn't prove that any of the other candidates couldn't either.

13. Not you Pete
But the other responses in this thread were some of the things that totally helped turned me off Kerry when Gore dropped out. That same day arrogant pushy people were telling everyone to line up behind Kerry and demanding that we get over the fact that Gore was out of it.

17. And what was it
that Al Gore said to "the people" a couple of months back...something about "getting behind" a certain candidate very early on.
